It’s called a work bee.
Taking a page out of classic pioneer living, when all the neighbours would get together to raise a barn, Whole Village hosts similar gatherings to get work done on the farm.
“It’s like an old fashioned mixed farm in a way,” said Brenda Dolling, one of the founding members of Whole Village eco-village.
